TRACK GEOMETRY MONITORING SYSTEM

Using inertial sensors installed on board the railway vehicle, we offer dynamic track monitoring using the measured accelerations obtained on the main directions of a 3D coordinate system coinciding with that of the vehicle, so that they are correlated with the geometric parameters of the track.

The system consists of:

  1. HARDWARE:4 inertial sensors installed on the vehicle’s front bogies.
  2. SOFTWARE: It treats the registers by filtering the signal and using the inverse Fourier transform.
  3. COMMUNICATION: It transmits the captured signal to a central station, in a secure manner.

REAL-TIME CONVEYOR BELT MONITORING SYSTEM BASED ON TEMPERATURE AND INERTIAL RESPONSE

Monitoring system based on the analysis of the vibrations and temperature of the conveyor belts, so that the most common defects can be identified at a very early stage.

The system is composed of: 

  1. HARDWARE: Two sensor nodes,
    1) Comprising accelerometers, microcontroller, data storage unit and communication module, and
    2) RFID node to measure the temperature
  2. SOFTWARE:  Based on mathematical algorithms for data processing, and artificial intelligence to  identify the right time to carry out the right maintenance  activities.
  3. COMMUNICATION: Wireless and real time. Use of both short and long range protocols.

DIAGNOSTIC, CADASTRE AND MANAGEMENT OF URBAN TREES

Services for the understanding of environmental and urban needs in the maintenance and proper management of trees in the Municipality.

  1. URBAN TREE CADASTRE: Complete inventory of urban trees in the municipality, offering the results on a digital platform available 24/7. On each unit, we determine: tree species, location, dasometry, inclination, health condition and urban conflict

  2. VITAL DIAGNOSIS (PHYSICAL/CHEMICAL): Using techniques based on electrical resistivity and ultrasound, we carry out a physical-chemical assessment in order to obtain a diagnosis on the health condition of each tree.

  3. HERITAGE MANAGEMENT:  We identify each tree with a QR code to be able to visualise their condition and other key information on site, from a user-friendly APP that can be configured as a work tool for technicians or as a free access APP for residents, depending on what is required by the municipality.

Solution for the control of groundwater extractions, which collects and analyses the registers of the extracted water volumes and the level in each of them, generating reports on the current state of the aquifers, both for those facilities that have flow meters and those that do not.

Innovative system that by taking 2D ultrasound scans, through the water and without direct contact with the salmon, together with the subsequent processing of the image obtained, is capable of carrying out the diagnosis and gonadal differentiation of the salmon in the alevin stage, quickly and automatically.

The system is composed of:

  1. HARDWARE: It is formed by an ultrasound equipment, responsible for obtaining 2D ultrasounds (M-Mode), and an aquatic sensor to perform the measurements.
  2. SOFTWARE: Two combined algorithms: 
    1) To filter and binarize the images obtained by the ultrasonic system, and
    2) To locate the reproductive organs of salmon through a process based on Histograms of Oriented Gradients (HOG)
  3. COMMUNICATION:  Short range, for collecting and sending results to the access point, and long range, for sending data to the cloud.

This technology allows the automatic separation of both sexes before they are taken to the farming centres at sea, thus increasing productivity and reducing costs.
